In short referred to as AutoEZ's "Online Terms". Read these Online Terms to understand how AutoEZ operates its online sites, insurance transactions, and handles your personal information.

1. About AutoEZ's online sites

1.1 AutoEZ Insurance (ABN 56 259 103 352) ("AutoEZ", "we" or "us") operates AutoEZ online sites ("Online Site(s)"), including our main website (www.autoez.org), social media sites, and the AutoEZ Claims Buddy application.

Insurance is issued by AutoEZ Insurance (ABN 56 259 103 352, AFSL 238163). All transactions are conducted over a secure internet connection (see term 29.3).

2. Links to other websites

2.1 An Online Site may contain links to websites owned by third parties ("Third Party Sites"). AutoEZ does not sponsor, endorse or approve of the operators of Third Party Sites or their material.

3. Your privacy

3.1 Your privacy and security is important to AutoEZ. Read terms 26 to 34 for information (the "Privacy Statement" component) about how AutoEZ handles the information you provide.

4. Product Information and Purchase

4.1 The AutoEZ Main Site contains information about our products and enables you to purchase and manage insurance policies online. All policy documents are sent electronically.

4.2 Creating a binding insurance contract is a two-step process: creating a quote, and then accepting that quote to create a binding agreement with a corresponding AutoEZ policy number.

5. Payments

5.1 All payments for insurance products must be paid in full by the due date. We accept permitted payment cards and require valid card details including CVV and expiry date.

6. AutoEZ's Online Tools

6.1 Our online tools enable you to view and manage policy details, lodge a claim, and manage claim-related information. Access requires a secure login. You must not provide your Login details to any other person.

10. Social Media Content

10.1 When you submit any personal information or materials via a Social Media Site, you license and grant AutoEZ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide right to use, reproduce, and display such content for any purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

Subject to any rights you may have under applicable law, we do not accept any legal responsibility for any loss or damage arising out of or referable to any Site Content or access to our Online Site.

16. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to use any robot, spider, screen scraper or other automatic process to copy or extract any web pages on any of our Online Sites without AutoEZ's prior written permission.

19. Copyright and Trademarks

19.1 Copyright in the material on an Online Site is owned or licensed by AutoEZ. "AutoEZ", "AutoEZ your car" and "autoez.org" are each registered trademarks of AutoEZ.

20. Termination

20.1 Your access to our Online Site(s) may be terminated at any time by AutoEZ for breach of these Online Terms or where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

23. General

23.2 AutoEZ only offers its insurance products for sale within Australia. 23.3 The law applicable to an Online Site is the law of the State of Queensland, Australia.

Privacy Statement (Terms 25-34)

25.1 By using an Online Site you accept that any personal information AutoEZ collects about you will be handled according to terms 26 to 34.

28.1 The information we will collect about you will depend on how you use an Online Site. We may disclose your personal information to IT providers, legal advisers, and government bodies as required by law.

28.3 All personal information you provide to our Main Site is passed through a secure, encrypted connection (SSL, at least 2048 bit).

30.1 You have a right to access, update or correct your personal information. You can email AutoEZ's Privacy Officer at privacyaccessrequests@autoez.org.

32.1 The Main Site uses "cookies" to enable the online insurance quotation process and provide a superior, customer-oriented service.

33.1 You agree to obtain the prior consent of any other person whose personal information you submit to AutoEZ via an Online Site.
