What is Comprehensive Car Insurance?
Comprehensive Car Insurance is our highest level of insurance at AutoEZ. It's car insurance that can provide cover for a range of insured events such as accidental loss or damage caused by driving accidents, nature, theft or malicious damage. It also includes Liability Cover for accidental damage to someone else's car or property caused by the use of your car.
What does Comprehensive Car Insurance cover?
Hail and storm damage
Our Comprehensive Car Insurance covers accidental loss or damage to your car caused by a storm or hail so you can drive with confidence no matter the weather.
Theft of your car
We will repair or replace your car if it's stolen, vandalised, or damaged by break-ins, theft and attempted theft.
Fire damage
Comprehensive Car Insurance covers accidental loss or damage caused by fire. This includes both fires caused by collisions and bush fires.

What's the difference between Comprehensive and Third Party Insurance?
Comprehensive Car Insurance covers you for accidental damage or loss of your car as well as damage to someone else's vehicle or property up to $20 million.
Third Party Insurance covers you for accidental damage that the use of your car causes to someone else's property or car. You are not covered for any damage to your own car or for injuries to other people.

With AutoEZ, you can add optional extras² to your policy when you get a quote, when you're midway through your policy term, or at renewal.
Windscreen and Window Glass Cover
Optional extra cover for your windscreen and windows means we will repair or replace your damaged windscreen and window glass without asking you to pay an excess – including your sunroof if you've got one.
Note this excess free claim only applies when your claim is limited to insured events where your windscreen or window glass is the only damage you're claiming.

Keep Mobile
Add optional Keep Mobile cover and while your car is out of action due to an incident covered by your policy, we'll provide you with a hire car that we think is a similar make and model to your car so that you feel right at home.
Plus, Keep Mobile cover comes with copycat cover. This means that while we settle your claim, you will receive the same insurance cover for whatever car is being used in place of your car (limited to its market value). Whether the car belongs to your mum, your mate, or a car share provider, we don't mind as long as you have their consent.

New for Old Car Replacement
Who doesn't love that new-car feeling? If your car is less than three years old at the start of your latest period of cover, and you've taken out optional New for Old cover, we'll replace your car with a new car of the same model and make (where available) when you car is determined by us to be a total loss.

In order to receive the benefit of an optional extra, you need to have your choice of extras added to your policy before the incident you're claiming for. You cannot add an optional extra after an incident and have damage or loss covered for that same event.

¹New for Old is available for cars less than three years old from date of manufacture. Once the claim has been lodged and accepted, we'll replace it with a new car of the same make and model (if available within 90 days), or similar if not available. If you choose not to accept the replacement car, or where an agreement cannot be reached between us on a replacement car, or a replacement car cannot be supplied, we'll offer to pay out the reasonable replacement cost of a similar make or model to your car (including the initial registration, CTP insurance, delivery charges and stamp duty costs), or the market value of your car, whichever is higher.
²Optional extras benefits are subject to the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of the insurance policy. You can't add optional extras after an incident and have damage or loss covered for that same incident. Optional extras must be added to your policy before the incident you're claiming for. Please refer to the PDS for more information.

Seemed a bit crazy that I had to put my card details in manually and not use the automatic payment set up on my phone. This was frustrating as I cancelled one card believing that it must've been compromised. Please fix this error.

Not the exact amount where it shows on the quote
Pls stick in to the exact quote price. As I was quoted about an hour n half ago, 154/ per month fee, once I come home went thru the quote and it was showing 164.25 10/- over charging. Would appreciate if you fix this.
